ASDA Oscars

Recognising our colleagues' achievements is an important part of our culture. ASDA Stars is our company-wide recognition scheme, which gives us all a chance to reward each other's performance, as well as giving our customers an opportunity to highlight great service.

At the end of the year, each area of the business nominates a Shining Star of the Year from their 12 monthly winners. Each Shining Star of the Year is then invited to attend the ASDA Oscars - a night of glitz and glamour with wining, dining and celebrity speakers like Peter Kay. The overall ASDA Shining Star is then named on the night.

This year's winner was Denise Crossley from ASDA House who was a deserving winner and has had a fantastic year. As a result of winning this award, she then also represented the UK at the shareholders meeting in the US in May with a brilliant presentation.
